She stretched out of the car, hand clasped his own as she gave it a quick but firm shake. How do you tap dance around the gentle was to ask how someone was adjusting to being a werewolf.

Jocelyn had told her that her coworker was recently join Frankie’s ranks as a werewolf. Of course, it wasn’t outwardly, but it was a scent Jocelyn was very familiar with by now. And since Frankie had been living this way for years; she offered to stop by and talk to him. Her girlfriend had said to be subtle but- only time would tell.

 One night as she was dropping Jocelyn off to work overnight at the animal clinic, she spotted the Vet in question. There was no denying it; she knew. Since the parking lot was quiet, save for the few staff inside, Frankie rolled down the window, and stuck her head out. 

  “Excuse me, can I ask you something?”

"You love it."

She winked up at him, a wide smile on her lips. She was completely okay with that- she just respected both of them in their careers she didn't want to entirely distract them. (okay maybe a little.)

"You do too, baby. We want you to be happy too."

"I think it might be too late for that."

He teased and still had the smile on his face. Johnathan knew that they would be okay. It's not like this is the first hunter to lurk about in this area. His girlfriends and himself will just have to be extra careful.

"Good, I'm glad you think so because I want it to be romantic. You two deserve it."

She knew they were hunters. Hell, the moment they got to town- she knew. Hunters in her town made her wiggy, and hunters in her music store made her anxious. But heaven forbid Frankie goes down looking like she’s some big bad wolf. Yeah, there was something gnarly going after people, but it wasn’t her, or her fam. If they asked her questions, she’d be cooperative.  

  She might be a werewolf, but she wasn’t going to hurt anyone. Frankie took the proper precautions.  She didn’t want to fuck up someone’s life like someone had done to her.

So for now, she’d try and be casual and just hope they were just here to look for the latest Black Keys and NOT here because of the weird shit going down.

She realized that perhaps he wasn't aware of Jocelyn's other side yet, so she made a mental note to ask her when he was gone. Frankie didn't wanna freak him out quite yet.

"But really- I've been through this for ages. If you've got questions, ask me. I don't mind."

"Yeah, this clinic."

That was a perk about having your own clinic. River could leave Corky there and not worry about anything. Plus she also enjoyed seeing all the other dogs and people that come in. As much as he missed her being at home with him, he just didn't want to scare her or cause her stress. She was his baby afterall.

"Okay, I can give you my phone number that way we can stay in touch?"

She ushered Liz outside the backdoor quickly and hoped that the noise hadn’t stirred anyone awake. Once they were outside, she carefully shut the door, and went to go sit on the patio.

With her phone on one ear, she made a face before she peeked at the time on her cell. A light chuckle left her lips.

"Well technically, I have two partners; Johnny, who I’ve been dating for ages, and Jocelyn. We're all going out together tonight.”

The throuple had even been living together for a long while now, and even if they saw each other all the time, it was still fun to get out and do different shit in other places.

It had been an absolute eternity since Lizzie had hung out with Frankie, that she wasn't going to pass up a spontaneous shopping sesh with an old friend. "Um, no, I'm joining in girlie!! Its been ages!! And is this a new guy, or someone you've known for awhile??"

Liz walks in the werewolf’s house calling Frankie’s name. ‘  i  made  coffee.  ’

The second she heard Liz come in, and call out, Frankie cringed as she rushed out of bed in her pajamas, out of her room and gently shut the bedroom door. Yes, it was late in the morning, but that was typically a quiet time in their home. Frankie scuttled out to meet Liz in the hallway.  “Shhhhhhhhh—–”She held her finger to her lips. Sure Liz didn’t know her living situation yet, but she didn’t want to wake anyone up.“Liz, people are sleeping….C’mon. Let’s take the  coffee outside, kay?”

She spoke as she looked back into his eyes. That gaze could always absolutely melt her, but then she gave him a little room so he could message Jocelyn.

"I just wanna have something quick to eat first."

The doctor gladly kissed her back. He, too, couldn't get enough of his girls. Jonathan was also very happy that everyone got along and truly loved each other. He looked into her eyes as she spoke.

"I can do it."

With that being said, he pulled out his phone and sent her a quick text.

"State of denial, huh?"

At least he found others earlier on, it helped to have a sense of community. For Frankie, she'd been on her own and spiralled for a while. She bailed on college for fear of hurting anyone else, and isolated herself from others. But that was then. It'd been a long time, but she worked hard to get to where she was now.

"Did someone tell you? Or how did you find out?"

River listened closely as Frankie explained. He thought it was nice that he had these sort of resources with a couple of other werewolves and Emma. It made him feel not so alone.

"Tell me about it... When I first found out what I was in disbelief. It just seemed so crazy."
